Edward Tallglasses, Eddie they called him
Colorful butterflies and bees enthralled him
He ran around with his chunky binoculars
Magnified flora and fauna appalled him
He dropped acid till he could see no more
He dropped acid till he fell flat on the floor
His binoculars crashed in one swift blow
And Eddie became melancholy to his core
Why won’t the universe just let me be?
Is it so hard to accept me for being me?
I care not for the answer so don’t bother
I like the butterflies they bring me glee
I see them now with my naked eye
I watch them flying askew and awry
They care not about who sees them
This would be fun even if I wasn’t high
